“Several months ago we adopted, Pippa, an adult dog from the pound. We already had smaller dogs and a cat. Pippa turned out to be half Great Pyrenes and half Coonhound (we had her DNA tested). She was extremely difficult to live with. She would never listen to any commands and we were unable to teach her any commands. Every time she was outside off her leash she would pick up a scent and disappear for hours. She would never come when called. She would rip food out of our hands while eating and tear up things around the house. She would periodically attack our little dogs (never actually hurt them or draw blood but lots of screaming and they were terrified of her). Of course, she would chase our cat and make him miserable also. I contacted Carmel and agreed to a three-week board and train. I delivered to Carmel a very bad and difficult dog and three weeks later he returned to me a wonderful dog. Pippa now listens, she comes when called, she knows numerous commands, she is much more calm and confident, and is no longer aggressive with our smaller dogs. She's even getting much better about chasing the cat. If I had to do it all over again I wouldn't wait several months to send her to Carmel. Our home is a happy place again and we have a beautiful dog we can truly enjoy. I cannot thank him enough or recommend him highly enough.”

We bought a Golden Retriever puppy for our kids for Christmas and although she has brightened our lives, it was really hard before Carmel came into the picture. “I am so happy we made the decision to have Carmel work with Brodie. We got Brodie from a rescue and didn't know a lot about his history. He wanted to see other dogs, but would go crazy when he was around them. He had some very basic training, but very little manners. Because he was 3 years old we knew professional help would be the best route. I never expected the amazing results we got. Carmel has a gift. He taught us how to handle situations and how to correct them. He also took the time to reinforce these commands with Brodie. Carmel was able to see Brodie was not well socialized and recommended him for daycare. This made the biggest difference. From his first day he made improvements.
